ESCB Announces Expanded Curriculum for Summer South Bay Music Symposium

The Music Symposium, the two-week band camp ESCB operates from July 15 - 26, is adding a Jazz Camp to this year’s offering.  It runs for three hours every day.

In addition, the Symposium continues to offer camps for Young Musicians, Wind Ensemble, Leadership, Colorguard, and Drumline.

As in the past years, the Symposium assembles a slew of professional, unique instructors from the LA Philharmonic/Hollywood Bowl, Colburn, UCLA, USC, Cal State Long Beach/Fullerton/Dominguez Hills, Eastman School of Music, and the Golden State Pops Orchestra.

The Symposium offers early-bird discounts for those who register and pay before June 1.  Click here to learn more and sign up.

Comedy Night Ends With Thunderous Laughter

Meteorologist by profession and stand-up comic by passion, NBC's Fritz Coleman brought his Hermosa Beach Comedy Club and Ice House Comedy Club acts to El Segundo on Saturday night, February 2.

"Comedy Night" is an annual event that brings a tremendous amount of fun and laughter to audiences while raising funds to support the El Segundo High School's award-winning band.

The event included entertainment from the Beach Cities Swing Band and a silent auction of dozens of amazing contributions from businesses throughout the Los Angeles area, including a signed jersey from the Laker's basketball start Steve Nash.
