It's Time for a Good Old-fashioned
St. Patrick's Day Celebration!

Good fortune and luck awaits those who experience "Ireland: Legends and Lore"! The El Segundo Concert Band takes the audience on a musical Irish journey on Saturday, March 17, featuring the classics, like "O Danny Boy", and wild and fun ones like "Tam O'Shanter".

This is our first concert in the brand new El Segundo Performing Arts Center. Our lighting designer will put to full use all the new lighting effects that are now built into the facility.  The Performing Arts Center is on the campus of the high school (640 Main St>).

Pior to the show and during intermission, several art schools and El Segundo art classes are exhibiting their drawings and paintings in the lobby of the theater.  These are works they have created over the last few weeks and months.  We have invited them to join us as part of the celebration activities.

The art exhibit begins at 6:00, pm, and refreshments will be available for purchase at that time as well. At 7:00, we will begin the concert.

Come dressed in green to help us celebrate St Patrick's Day!

After the concert is over, many members of the band will head on over to Rock & Brews on Main St to complete our St. Patrick's Day celebration. We hope you will join us there, too.

Though there is no admission charge to the art exhibit or the concert, we request donations to help cover our concert expenses and support the various music education programs we operate and sponsor in the community.
