Free Summer Concert with Professional Tubist, Magician, and Legacy Dance Academy

Spend an evening under the French stars right here in El Segundo. The El Segundo Concert Band (ESCB) presents, “Vive La France.” This free concert features music by French composers in a quaint outdoor setting with food vendors from around El Segundo (food is available for purchase). It will be presented on Saturday, July 26 beginning at 8:00pm in the El Segundo High School South Quad. Come early with your chairs and blankets and enjoy great food and music.

Prior to the concert, our audience will be entertained with performances by talented music students from the South Bay Music Symposium. These performances begin at 6:00 pm..

Joining the ESCB will be world renowned music educator and entertainer Patrick Sheridan, local dance studio Legacy Dance Academy, and Las Vegas magician and “mind reader” Paul Draper. 

Patrick Sheridan is one of the most celebrated soloists in the history of the tuba. He has performed more than 3,000 concerts in over 50 countries in venues ranging from the White House to NBA half-time shows to the Hollywood Bowl. 

Paul Draper has appeared with David Copperfield, Lance Burton, and Teller as an expert on theHistory Channel. He
has performed 
for HBO Comedy Fest at Caesar's Palace, on Criss Angel’s Mindfreak on A&E, and on documentaries accompanying Steven Spielberg's Poltergeist.
